John Michael Fellouzis

John Michael 'Yianni' Fellouzis, age 20, of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 surrounded by his family. Yianni was born on February 15, 1993 in Canton, the son of Michael and Carla Fellouzis. He was a full of life, loving son, brother and friend. He was a 2011 graduate of Perry High School where he was an athlete, loved his music and fishing and is loved by his many, many football brothers and friends of all walks of life. Yianni worked at Acropolis Construction and Landscaping. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. His favorite vacation time was spent in Florida deep sea fishing with his dad and brother. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Fellouzis, grandfather, Roger Mayle, great-grandmother, Yia Yia Maria Fellouzis and great-grandparents Walter and Angie Holtz, and Rev. Marcus and Juanita Mayle. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Michael (Carla) Fellouzis; his brother and sister, Emmanuel and Maria Fellouzis; his grandfather, John Fellouzis and great-uncle Emmanuel M. Fellouzis; Emmanuel and Alicia Gyparakis and many relatives across the world; his grandmother Judy (Ron) Clauss; his great aunt Tina (John) Leek; his aunts and uncles, Dino (Carrie) Fellouzis, Emmanuel (Angela) Fellouzis, Pam (Rev. Bill) Parsons, Eric Mayle, Kim Hayhurst, and Tracy Mayle; and numerous close cousins. The family wishes to thank the many friends that supported them through this tragedy and the wonderful staff at Aultman and the Cleveland Clinic. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox church in Massillon. Fr. Yanni Verginis will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Trisagion service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
