John L. ‘Jack’ Hershberger

Hershberger age 79 of Massillon passed away Sunday at Rose Lane Health Care. Jack was born May 2, 1929 in Massillon to the late Frank A. & Mary (Allmon) Hershberger. He was a 1947 graduate of Washington High School and served in the Army in Japan during the Korean Conflict. Jack was a long time employee of John George Connivance Store. He is survived two sisters and two brothers: Dorothy Chovan, Evelyn Bush, Mike (Judy) Hershberger and Jim Hershberger; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be 10 AM Thursday at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Barbara’s Cemetery. Memorials can be sent to Hospice of Stark County.
