John F. 'Jack' Nadzam, age 79 of Perry Township passed away Tuesday August 2, 2016, the result of an auto accident last month. John was born August 25, 1936 in Youngstown to the late John & Ann (Zoldak) Nadzam. He was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School and retired from SKF Industries. John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and served as an usher at the Saturday 4:30 PM Mass for many years. He was a member of the K of C #554 and Bishop Massillon Assembly of the 4th Degree. John was an animal lover, especially dogs. His children and grandchildren will always remember his humor and love of chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. Jack is survived by his wife Nila (Ratliff) Nadzam with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. They have three children: Catherine (Charles) Ferrell, Caren Nadzam-Paisley and Patrick Nadzam. He leaves three brothers: Michael, John A. and Thomas Nadzam. He has five grandchildren: Christopher (Holly) Enos, Ian Ferrell, Caitlyn Ferrell, Alexander Nadzam-Paisley and Nicholas Nadzam-Paisley and a great grandchild, Daxton and another one on the way. He also leaves his canine friend Hobo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church; Fr. Edward Gretchko of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Final resting place is Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday 6 – 8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Memorial can be sent to either Stark County Dog Pound (1801 Mahoning Rd.
