John E. Lint, age 83 of North Lawrence, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, March 29, 2021. He was born in Massillon on February 06, 1938 to the late John and Goldie (Adorjan) Lint. He married Evelyn Faber on March 09, 1957 and they shared 54 years together until her passing in 2011. John was a Truck Driver for Massillon Washed Gravel – Ready Mix Division until his retirement after 32 years of service. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for the North Lawrence Fire Department, The Tuslaw Lions Club, where he was awarded Lion of the year and was a member of Teamsters Local 92. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, playing cards and board games and mowing. He was a known as a person to always lend a helping hand. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother-in-law and friend. He is survived by his children John C. (Susan) Lint, Laurie (Michael) Weaver, Jay Lint and Lisa Byer; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and his sisters Evelyn (Raymond) Pachuta, Betty Lawson and Maybelle Thomas. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Donations in John’s memory can be made to the North Lawrence Fire Department or the Tuslaw Lions Club.
