John C Kerner Jr.

John C Kerner Jr., age 89 of Canal Fulton, passed away March 8, 2019. He was born in Neodesha, Kansas on February 6, 1930; a son to the late John and Ada Kerner Sr. John served in the U.S. Army from 1949-1952. He was a loader at Nickle’s Bakery. John married Sharie Heidy on August 26, 1960. John was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Edrie Katzer, Marjorie Pence and Deloris Mills. He is survived by his wife Sharie; children Craig (Cathy) Kerner, Tim (Lisa) Kerner, and Lori Kerner; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Pleasant View Mennonite Cemetery, North Lawrence, Ohio.
