John Badarnza, Jr.

June 27, 1930 — February 17, 2017

John Badarnza, Jr., 86, of Massillon, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2017 following a brief illness. John was born on June 27, 1930 in Massillon the son of the late John and Mary (Lapadat) Badarnza. He was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School and a 1954 graduate of Heidelberg University. John was a U.S. Army veteran and served our country during the Korean War. He retired from Firestone Products/ Accuride Corp. where he was the Central Regional Sales Manager. John was a member of Grace United Church of Christ. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Marcus and sisters, Ann Williams, Mary Juhasz, and Aurelia Howe. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Adams) Badarnza whom he shared 65 years of marriage; his daughters, Holly Moss and Sandra (Jeff) Perry; grandchildren, Alyssa and Mark Moss; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Johns life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12 p.m. (noon) at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11-12 p.m. before the service.
