John A. Copeland, age 56; of North Lawrence passed away on December 16, 2017. He was born on January 16, 1961 to Mary and the late Ralph Copeland in Massillon. He was a 1979 graduate of Fairless High School. He married Joy V. George on October 29, 1983 and she survives. John owned and operated John Anthony’s Repair. He was an avid Bass Fisherman, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, collecting fishing lures and antique toys. He was a generous servant to other people, willing to help anyone in need. He will forever be remembered a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Joy; his children James (April) Rudo, Colleen Rudo, and Jonica (Jason) Mullane; his grandchildren James Rudo II, Brady Rudo, T.J. Haidet, Andy Haidet, Alexus Kellow, Jennavecia Mullane, Jayden Mullane and Jameson Mullane; his Mother, Mary Copeland; his brothers Carmen (Carolyn) Copeland, Mark Copeland, and Bobby Copeland; his sister Tammy (Leonard) Bishop; his nieces Linette Croxton and Aimee Copeland; his nephew Kevin Copeland; his Daschaund Remax and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Copeland, his nephew Jason Carmen, his beloved Daschaund, Max. A Celebration of his life will be held at 3P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
