Joe Manos, age 95, passed away on January 21, 2022. He was born in Canton, Ohio on December 27, 1926, to the late Harry and Despina (Moumtjoglou) Manos Sr. He was a 1945 graduate of Timken High School. Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Norma Larson on February 19, 1955 and they shared 55 years together until her passing in 2010. Joe was an Assembly Line worker for the Ford Motor Company and retired after 45 years of service. He was member of the VFW Post #5047 in Navarre and the Mens Club at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles and playing cards. Joe was known for being a trickster and his devilish sense of humor, but most importantly Joe was a kind man, who was willing to help someone in need. Joe was a family man, who adored his nieces and nephews. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He is survived by his children Buddy (Patty) Manos, Thomas (Jan) Manos and Laurie Kerry; his grandchildren Joe (Jenny) T. Manos, Michael (Abbey) Manos, Dawn Manos, Kris Manos; his brothers, Lazor (Loretta) Manos; his brother-in-law Harry Zantopoulas and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Manos Jr., Gust Manos, George Manos and Milt Manos and his sister Katherine Zantopoulas.
