Joanne Street

Joanne Street, 74, passed away on February 25, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Akron on June 5, 1943 to the late Leo and Ruby (Sharp) Brown. Joanne retired from Sam’s Club and worked for many years at Rose Lane Nursing Center. She was a loving and caring woman, dedicated to her family. She was always doing for others and enjoyed helping people. She is survived by her husband, Jeremiah “Jerry” Street, whom she married on September 19, 1961; their two daughters, Geraldine (Tim) Stevens of Columbus and Angie Horn of Ashtabula; six grandchildren, Cherie (Joe) Racut, Tracy (Joe Floom) Stevens, Leanne (Brian) Hoffman, Krystal Stevens, Bradley Stevens and Brianna Stevens; seven great-grandchildren, Joey, Lillianna, Justin, Lana, Mason, Anthony and Briistal; a brother, Leo Brown, Jr. ; and two sisters, Sharon Savage and Flora Mae Zenner. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Brian and Nicolas and three brothers, Robert, Albert and JR Brown. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10am, burial will follow in Newman Cemetery.
