Joanne Mary Schroeder

Joanne Mary Schroeder age 73, passed away on December 5, 2012. She was born on November 17, 1939 in Canton to the late Edwin and Gertrude (Gertz) Schroeder. Joanne was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School and was diehard Tigers fan until the day she died. Joanne was employed at Superior Meats/Fresh Mark for 47 years. She attended church at St. Clement's and St. Joseph's in Massillon, and was a member of the Perry Grange for 23 years. Joanne was an avid gardener and bird watcher, loved to sing, play cards, travel, read and bowl. She will forever be remembered as a big hearted, loving, kind, giving and thoughtful sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend. Joanne is survived by her 2 brothers, Gerald (Dolores) Schroeder and Robert (Lana) Schroeder; her sisters Sharlene Dunn and Gail Mayko and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her brother Edwin L. Schroeder Jr. and her brother-in- law Gene Dunn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Massillon at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 10 A.M. Father Raymond Paul officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 P.M. on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Clement's Cemetery. Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory – 330-833-3222
