Joanne “Joan” M. (Schuckert) Blackwood age 64, of Dalton, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 in her home. She was born November 06, 1952 to the late Mary Stayer. She was a graduate of Jackson High School. Joan was employed by Life Line Screening. Joan’s pride and joy were her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Joan was very involved with helping and making a difference, wherever she could. Joan is survived by her loving family; Daughter Carrie (Carl) Ramold, Son Nathan (Merideth) Blackwood, and Daughter Brittany (Tyler) Sisk; four grandchildren Benjamin, Addison, Trevor, and Hudson. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jack, Jay and Gary Lee. Services were private . Joan was accepted at Life Banc and will be able to change many lives.
