Joanne J. Julian, 84, of Jackson Township, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 14, 1933 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Harry and Emma (DeHoff) Renner. Joanne graduated in 1951 from Jackson High School, she married Charles Julian in 1958 and together they raised three sons. She was an active person, volunteering for 2700 hours at Massillon City Hospital and Affinity Medical Center. She also volunteered at Meals on Wheels, was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and was an avid Massillon Tiger football fan. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Julian, her son, Guy Julian, and her siblings, Harry Renner, Dale Renner, Mary Belle Halter, Betty Lou Renner and Edward Renner. She is survived by daughter -in-law, Amy Julian, sons, Jeff (Betsy) Julian and Troy (Diane) Julian, grandchildren, Kyle (Brittany), Max (Katy), Evan, Casey, C.J., Stephanie and Peyton, great grandson, Grayson, sister, Nancy Lee Gardner and many loving nieces and nephews. A service to remember the life of Joanne Julian will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Jean Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday one hour before the service.
