Joan Lee Girt

Joan Lee Girt, 89, passed away on December 31, 2022. She was born on May 8, 1933 to the late Roy Foster and Isabel Harter

Joan owned and operated Flowers by Jo, and loved to spend time with her family. In 1951, she married the love of her life Gerald Girt, prior to his passing in 2021, the two loved to travel, gamble, and spend time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joan is survived by her children Roxanne Carman and Jesse Girt; her grandchildren Melanie (Michael) Warner and Gerald Carman, and her great-grandchildren; Zachary Carman, Hailee Jo Carman, J.R. Carman, Jesse Warner, William Warner, and Trinity Warner.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald Girt, her parents Roy Foster and Isabel Harter, and her brother Tom Foster.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, the service will follow at 12:00pm. A graveside service is being held directly after the service at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre.
