Joan L. Lubert

Joan L. Lubert, age 72 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born on November 25, 1936 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret Krier. She passed away just two weeks before her 73rd birthday. Joan was a lifelong resident of Massillon. She worked for United Way for 35 years as a secretary before retiring on January 31, 2003. She is survived by her husband, James C. Lubert Sr., whom she married on April 7, 1956; her children and spouses, James C. Lubert Jr., Lorie Lee Hamrick, Susan Lynette (Jeff) Brannon all of Massillon; her grandchildren, Matthew Harper and Breanne Walter; her siblings, Cheri (Terry) Ryder of WA and Raymond ‘Bud’ (Mary) Krier of Massillon. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7 PM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wales Rd. in Massillon. There will be no funeral service. Cremation will follow.
