Jo Anne Richey

Jo Anne Richey, 85, passed away on September 30, 2016, following a brief illness. She was born in Moorhead, MS on November 21, 1930 to the late Harry G. and Betty Iola (Power) Shelton. Jo Anne was a devoted wife and mother, who was always there when family needed her. She loved to travel and made many trips to Mississippi and Las Vegas to see her sister and niece, where she met many stars and singers. During her illness she kept her sense of humor to the end. She is survived by her children, Jeannie (Don) Irwin of Carrollton, Mary Catherine Wells of Perry Twp., Joni C. (Ted) Bash of Shalersville, Sean P. Richey of Perry Twp.; step-daughter, Jill (Mike) Richey-Rohan of Georgia; fourteen Grandchildren; and sixteen Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. "Jack" Richey; step-son, John Richey; and sister, Betty Jean Castorina. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pastor Thom Kalb, officiating. A special thank you too her home health care aide, Tawana Gadison. Mom grew to love her dearly. We couldn't have kept mom home without her assistance and Aultman Hospice.
