Jo - Ann R. Streb

Jo-Ann R. Streb, 83, passed away on October 27, 2016, following an extended illness. She was born in Canton on November 4, 1932 to the late Frank and Ruth (Finnegan) Zanders. Jo-Ann was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Massillon. She retired from the O.B.E.S. in 1995. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for many years and was involved with Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto at Central Catholic School for 45 years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Calvin J. Streb; their children, John (Kathy) Streb, Robert (Sherry) Streb, Mary Jo (Clifford) Gowins-Scott and Sue (Kevin) McDaniel; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa (Robert) Shean; and a brother, Frank (Paula) Zanders. Friends and family will gather at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 9:00am-9:45am Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Edward Gretchko on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon, burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
