Jill Michelle Wingard

Jill Michelle Wingard, 42 of Canton, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018. Jill was born on April 10, 1975 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Robert Wingard and Deborah (Creighton) Riordan. Jill attended Jackson High School and graduated from Page High School in Franklin, TN. She graduated from Kent State University where she received her Master’s degree in Library Science. Jill worked at the Massillon City Library where she was a reference librarian and genealogist. She loved reading, music and most of all caring for her daughters. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Ethel Wingard and Harold and Charlesa Higgins. She is survived by her daughters, Chloe Wingard and Brenya Grier; father, Robert (Jeanne) Wingard; mother, Deborah Riordan; significant other, Michael Bache; brother, Jeff (Stephanie) Wingard; nephew, Mitchell Wingard; step-brothers, Michael and Matthew Hannen. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
