Jesse R. Collins

Jesse R. Collins, age 74 of Navarre, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Copley. Jesse was born on August 9, 1936 in Thornton, WV the son of the late Jesse and Ada Collins. Jesse was a United States Army veteran. He retired from Eaton Corp. after 35 years of service as a tool and die set-up man. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, James Collins, Jodi Ramsey, Jason (Sondra) Collins, Joseph Collins and Jeanean Collins; his grandchildren, Britany, Corey, Elizabeth, Ricky, Heidi and Travis; his great-grandchildren, Alexis and Layla; his brothers, Marshall (Sharon) and Glenn (Jaunita) Collins; and his sisters, Freda Marquess, Alice (Coy) Rice, and Nancy (Dr. Burt) Goerlich. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral home at 1:00 P.M. Rev. Tim Prince will be officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Care Center.
