Jesse Geibel

Jesse Geibel, age 93 of Massillon, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on March 19, 1920 in Pleasant City, Ohio and was the son of the late John and Frances (Kirkbride) Geibel. He retired from the Massillon Window Washing Company after 43 years of service. Jesse was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Hazel Geibel, his son Robert Geibel, his sister, Clara Nickerson and his brothers, Bernard, James and Raymond Geibel. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Geibel, his sons Howard and David Geibel, his granddaughters, Delores Parr and Jessica Scheufler, five great grandchildren, his sisters, Phyllis Jean Lowther, Betty Mathers, Katherine Nickol and Ruth Reese and his brothers, Charles and John Geibel. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Thayer officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
