Jerry S. Hunter

March 31, 1963 — April 8, 2021

Jerry S. Hunter, 58, passed away following a brief illness. He was born in Canton on March 31, 1963. Jerry was a veteran of The United States Army and worked as a property manager. He was a member of the ACDC Dart Club. Jerry was a wonderful, father, grandfather and protector. He was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and BBQ. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hunter, whom he married on May 27, 1983; their children, Terra (Sean) O’Brien, Jerri (Brett) Heiney and Tiffaney (Eric) McWilliams; grandchildren, Riley, Keegan, Nathan, Madden and Carleigh; his mother, Doris Hunter Rash; sisters, Barb (Dwight) Hill and Bessie (Gene) Nichols; brother-in-law, Don (Karen) Phillips; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeremy J. Hunter. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 6pm-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 10:30am with burial in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required. If you are not feeling well, or if you have a compromised immune system, you are encouraged to stay home.
