Jerry L. Stewart

Jerry L. Stewart, age 76 of Massillon, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at his residence. Jerry was born on September 17, 1934 in Holbrook, PA the son of the late Floyd and Ruby (Grant) Stewart. Jerry was a lifelong resident of Massillon and retired from Republic Steel in 1994. Jerry will be remembered for his love of NASCAR. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Buck and Jim Stewart, and his sister Thelma Conklin. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Dora (Caldwell) Stewart; his step-sons, Dennis (Karen) Baisden and Danny (Fran) Baisden; his daughters, Sue Stewart, Lisa Stewart and Becky (Don) Rinaldi; his grandchildren, Shane and Shawn Stewart, Roman and Domenic Rinaldi, Kerri (Noah) Simons and Terri (Jaime) and Danielle (Justin) Baisden-Curtis; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one’s favorite charity.
