Jerry L. Stallman

Jerry L. Stallman, age 77, of Jackson Township, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Aultman Compassionate Care with his family by his side. Jerry was born January 25, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to Harold and Minetta (Henderson) Stallman. He married Mary (Doerschuk) Stallman June 6, 1958. She passed away July 13, 2006. Jerry worked at The Timken Co. and retired after 37 years of service. Following Timken, he worked at Glenmoor Country Club for 10 years, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Jerry also loved camping at Clay's Park, playing bingo and slot machines, and his dog, Toby. His greatest pride and joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jerry will be deeply missed by his sons, Craig (Diane) Stallman of Lake Mohawk, Jeff Stallman of Louisville and son-in-law, Mike Young of Massillon; grandchildren, Kimberly Crilow, Lisa Crilow, Aaron (Jamie) Young, Alicia (Jon) Langenhop, Amanda Young, Stephanie Stallman and Jessica Stallman; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ethel Ramsey and Carl (Virginia) Stallman. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary of 47 years, daughter, Cheryl Young, sister, Marilyn Jovingo and brothers, Bud and Bill Stallman. Friends may call Monday, December 26, 2016 from 4-7 pm and again on Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 am at the Paquelet Funeral Home, in Massillon. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 10:30 am, with Pastor Gary Dolan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
