Jerry Don Boone

Jerry Don Boone, 86 of Muskegon, MI passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018 into the arms of his loving Savior, joining his loved ones in Heaven rejoicing. He proudly served with the Love Company in the Korean War in the Battle of 717 - 682 for which his Company was honored for heroism and received the Presidential Unit Citation from President Truman. Returning home he married his high school sweetheart, Lowella May “Tootie” (Kozik) Boone. Jerry was a partner at Clark Boot Shop. He devoted his life to his family, and was of the highest character, setting an example for all to follow. He loved sports, traveling and was a gifted artist and writer. He attended Forest Park Covenant Church. He is survived by his loving wife Lowella May (Kozik) with whom he shared 65 years of marriage; his children, Carl Thomas Boone, Clifford Jerry (Laura K.) Boone, and Gindy Sue Gray; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
