Jerry D. Frease

Jerry D. Frease age 69 of Massillon passed away Friday September 26, 2008. Jerry was born February 9, 1939 in Canton to the late Ivan & Waneta (Shindledecker) Frease and was raised in Navarre. He was a 1958 graduate of Navarre High School. He retired in 2003 from LTV as a foreman. Jerry was an outdoors man who enjoyed camping and fishing. His true passion was bowling and proudly possessed four ‘300’ rings. Jerry was a member of FOE #190, Moose #481, and VFW #3124. He was raised by the late Waneta Yoho & L. Vernon Yoho and preceded in death by two step-children, Edward Little, Karen Burd and a sister Janet Venables. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margery (Sibila) Frease, a stepdaughter Susan (Paul) Huwig, two sisters Patricia Yoho & Pamela (Rick) Dunne and a brother Ivan ‘Bud’ Frease. There are 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His funeral will be at a time to be announced Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Interment will be later in the week. Friends may call 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the charity of your choice.
