Jerry A. Wolfe

Jerry A. Wolfe, 82 of Tuscarawas Township, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015. Jerry was born on June 26, 1933 in New Philadelphia, the son of the late Carl and Wilma (Stewart) Wolfe. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1952 graduate of New Philadelphia High School. Jerry was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving our country during the Korean War. He worked for the Rubbermaid Co. and retired in 1995. Jerry loved his family. He enjoyed target shooting, working on cars, rebuilding computers, and going for long car rides. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Genevieve A. Wolfe in 2008. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Carol L. (Gerhart) Wolfe, whom he married on December 26, 1957; his children and their spouses, Cheri Ledford, Timothy (Laura) Wolfe, Kathy (Lewis) Miller, Jeffrey Wolfe, Roger Wolfe, Douglas (Julie) Wolfe, Charles Wolfe, and Diana (Michael) Gabet; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his brothers, Dick (Ann) Wolfe and Bob (Sheryl) Wolfe; and his sister, Susan Ammanitti.
