Jerome "Red" Crisp

Jerome "Red" Crisp, 81, of Massillon, passed away on January 5, 2023 at his home

He was born on June 2, 1941 to James and America (Caincross) Crisp in Grayson, KY. On February 17, 1961, he married Joyce Crisp (Flatt) and they shared almost 62 years together.

Red worked as a Laborer for Senn Construction for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, doing yard work, and most importantly spending time with his family. Red was known as a practical joker, and was known to give a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a proud member of Local #894 - Laborers International Union. He will be remembered as a loving husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Red is survived by his loving Wife, Joyce; his sons Bobby D. Crisp and Carl J. (Dianne) Crisp; his grandchildren, Lindsay M. (Jason) Lorton, Travis J. (Rachael) Bilderback, Dennis R. Crisp, Ashley N. (Ryan) Grazulis; his great-grandchildren, Wyatt C. Lorton, Bryson J. Bilderback, Jacob A. Lorton, Nora M. Bilderback, Hazel A. Grazulis, Harrison B. Grazulis, Edith R. Bilderback; his brother, Gaylord Crisp; his sister, Gladys J. Crisp and host of family and friends. In addition to his parents, Red was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 4 sisters

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, 11:00 am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio, with Pastor Jeremiah Sargent, officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 09, 2023 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Brookfield Cemetery.
