Jennifer Simpson passed away on the 29th of October at her residence. Jennifer was born in Frankfurt, Germany and moved to Ohio her Mother Heidi Simpson and 3 siblings following her father’s, Thomas Simpson, retirement from the military.
Jennifer was a dedicated mother, sister, aunt, caretaker, and friend who throughout her life showed exuberant tenacity, good will and strength. She dedicated her life to her children and helping those who needed her most.
She battled cancer and fought to be there for the people she loved most. She completed her bachelors at Indiana Wesleyan University while being a single mother. She was an avid chef, investor, and loved civic and political engagement.
Earlier this year, the Simpson family lost Michael Simpson, Jennifer’s brother. Jennifer is survived by her 3 children, Natalie Cecchini, Alessandro Cecchini and Anthony Cecchini, her elder sister Shirley Simpson, and her younger sister Susan Simpson.
The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10am -11am with a memorial service following at 11am. Inurnment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating.
