Jendeth "Jendy" L. Norton

Jendeth "Jendy" L. Norton, age 71 went home to be with the Lord on January 09, 2017. She was born in Wooster, Ohio on June 24, 1945 to the late Frank and Ruth (Schisler) Norton. She was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School. Jendy worked as a Therapeutic Assistant at the former Massillon State Hospital. She was a diehard Elvis Fan, she enjoyed singing in Faith Lutheran and Lincoln Ladies Choir and also playing card games. Jendy is survived by her sons Brian (Sharon) Charlton and Aaron Charlton; her life partner Jeff Wolford; his daughter Mandy (Troy Kemp) Wolford; her granddaughters Selena and Sierra; her sisters Keri Eckenrode and Joellen (Gary) Schaefer; her brother David Norton; her half-sister Sandy Gazzetta; and a host of relatives and friends, especially members of the Charlton Family. In addition to her parents Jendy was preceded in death by her half-sister Barbara Peters and her former husband Thomas E. Charlton A Celebration of her life will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church in Massillon on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:30a.m. Pastor Emily Seitz will be officiating.
