Jeffrey F. Colucy, Sr.

Jeffrey F. Colucy, Sr. age 71, of Perry Township, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013. Jeff was born on July 31, 1941 in Massillon the son of the late Rafael and Mildred (Samsa) Colucy. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1961 graduate of Fairless High School. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years and retired from Beaver Excavating in 2003. Jeff was a member of Operating Engineers Local 18 and he was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his children and their spouses: Jeffrey F. (Reneia) Colucy, Jr., Elizabeth (Colin) Bastien, Mark (Cynthia) Colucy, and Michael A. Colucy; his grandchildren, Charles, Allyssa, Atticus, Maxwell and Colin, Jr.; his sister, Mary Ann Fowler; his brother, Carter (Vicki) Colucy; and his loving companion of 25 years Wilma Crossan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish in Navarre. Fr. Michael Seifert will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Clement Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
