Jeffrey A. Schalmo

Jeffrey Schalmo, 55, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Jackson Township passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1969 to Judy (Seifert) and Paul Schalmo.

Jeff was a 1988 graduate of Jackson High School. He was the owner and operator of Measure Up Home Repairs. Jeff was known for his sense of humor and ability to make jokes and tease his friends and family. He was a loving person, he cared about everyone he met and would always help out when he was able. While in Florida, he was an advocate for the turtles and would always try to keep them off the roads.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Schalmo; his daughter, Haley Schalmo; parents, Judy and Paul Schalmo; sister, Chris Schalmo; brother, Steve (Renee`) Schalmo; niece, Brooke and nephew, Zac.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Lucille Schalmo, and Bob and Margaret Seifert.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00pm.
