Jeffery L. Emerick

Jeffery L. Emerick, 61 of Tuscarawas Township, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was born in Massillon on November 30, 1954 the son of Robert and Shirley (Fisher) Emerick. He was a 1973 graduate of Fairless High School. Jeff worked at Doctor's Hospital and then farmed at Nordo Farms in Tuscarawas Township. He enjoyed camping, visiting Disney World, collecting & trading Disney pins, collecting die cast cars, and spending time with his pets. Jeff was a member of Newcomer's Chapel of Pigeon Run U.M.C. He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Emerick, his infant sister Katherine, his grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncle. He is survived by his wife Beth (Pollock) Emerick whom he shared 33 years of marriage; his daughter Becky (Aaron) Krites; his father, Robert Emerick; his brother Virgil (Sharon) Emerick; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Aultman Hospice and Compassionate Care Center. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
