Jeff B. Maccora, 52, resident of Jackson Township, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at home in the midst of his loving family. Jeff was born in Canton on February 17, 1962 to Bernard J. and the late Anne L. ( Schiavone) Maccora. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1980 and from The Ohio State University in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration. It was at O.S.U. that he met his future wife, Deborah A. Clark, whom he married on October 3, 1987. They settled in the Columbus area where he began his career in industrial sales first with Reynolds Metals Company, followed by stints at Clark Lift, and Highlift Equipment Company. Jeff was the Regional Sales Director of Donaldson- Great Lakes and Canada. He began his 22-year Donaldson Torit career in 1992 and ultimately finished with 16 President's Club Awards and the recent honor of Circle of Champions 2014 inductee. He was a member and former Church Council Vice President of St Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church and a past Vice President of Shady Hollow Country Club Board of Directors. Jeff was an avid golfer, and die-hard Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye fan. He was a wonderful father and husband and a deeply dedicated friend to many. Family, friends and co-workers all admired him for his enthusiastic approach to life and his devotion to the things he loved. He will be deeply missed by those who he gave so much love, support and encouragement. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debbie and children, Lisa and Jimmy, father, Bernard Maccora of Scottsdale, sisters, Jodene Brendle and Joellen (Mark) Esber, both of Canton, and brother, Jim (Jean) Maccora of San Jose. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, a large, loving extended family and many friends. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and again from 9:30-10:30 am on Friday, October 24, 2014 at St Stephen the Martyr Lutheran Church in Canton prior to the funeral service at 10:30. Internment at North Lawn Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to The Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org .
