Jeanne S. Betteker

Jeanne S. Betteker age 84 of Massillon passed away Friday March 30, 2012. She was born March 2, 1928 in Toledo to the late Ralph & Thelma (Nolan) Snyder. Jeanne was a 1946 graduate of Washington High School. Mrs. 'B' was employed by Central Catholic High School from 1967-1986; and a legal secretary for Mills, Mills, Feely & Lucas. She was a member of Massillon Museum, Women's Club, Spring Hill Historic Home, Military Officers Association, & Columbian Ladies Guild. In addition to her parents, James Betteker her husband of 45 years passed in 1996, a sister Betty Snyder and son-in-law John Hodgson. Jeanne is survived by four children and spouses: Michael (Mary Anne) Betteker, Mark (Penny) Betteker, Jeff (Cathy) Betteker & Jacquie (John Randall) Hodgson; 13 grandchildren and one great randdaughter. There are two sisters: Helen Witker and Jacquie McLain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon, Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be at St. Clement's Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Memorials can be sent to St. Joseph's Church (St. Vincent de Paul).
