Jeanette Hissner, age 88, passed away on March 9, 2015. She was born on October 05, 1926 to the late David and Minnie (First) Owen in Canton. She married Phil Kermit Hissner on February 01, 1947 and they shared 60 years together until his passing in 2007. Jeanette was a graduate of Lehman High School and was a secretary at Ohio Air Products and later Timken Mercy Medical Center. Jeanette took great pride and was very devoted to her family, spending countless hours at her grandchildren's sporting events, musicals, plays, and recitals. Her family was her life and she will forever be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Aunt. Jeanette is survived by her children Pamela (Gary) Dolan, Timothy (Rita) Hissner, and Melinda (Gary) Nash; her grandchildren Tammy (Mike) Shirey, Geoffrey Dolan, Timothy (Sarah) Hissner, Steven (Angela) Hissner, Jeremy Hissner, Bryan (Erika) Nash, Daryl Nash, Megan Nash, Alecia (Matt) Creasap-Simpson, 12 great grandchildren as well as a host of special nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanette was preceded in death by her 11 brothers and sisters. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Al Dangelo officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations can be made in Jeanette's memory to the Canton Christian Home. The family would like to thank Dr. Lawrence Penvose and Dr. Anthony Degenhard for their compassionate care through the years as well as the staff of the DaVita Belden Dialysis Center.
