Jean Phyllis Downard

Jeanne Phyllis Holderman Downard, aged 83 passed away, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Jeanne was born in Massillon on March 30, 1928 to the late Vern and Beatrice (Keen) Holderman. She was a graduate of Washington High School in 1946. She married Herman "Joe" Downard and they were together for 27 years until his passing. Jeanne was a devoted mother and grandmother. Always known for being kind, caring and a friend to everyone she met. Her grandson Todd, kept her laughing and young at heart. She is survived by her 3 children, Terry Downard, Bette Butcher, and Robin Ladd. One grandson Todd Butcher and daughter-in-law Melissa, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Jack Holderman and Bill Holderman. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Neuman Cemetery at 2 P.M.
