Jayne D. Ripple

Jayne D. Ripple, 94 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Brewster Parke Convalescent Center. She was born on October 11, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Pearl (Pafras) Rohrbaugh. In 1978 she retired from the M. O’Neil Company where she had worked for 40 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Jayne loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking care of her home and garden. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Ripple in 1990. Jayne is survived by her son and his wife, Thomas B. and Alice S. Baker of Massillon, her granddaughters, Lisa J. Baker, Julie A. (Todd) Schmidt and Jennifer L. Baker all of Massillon, her great grandchildren, Brandon A., Tyler T. and Brooke Schmidt. Also surviving are her stepchildren, Bill and Cyndy Wells, and Don and Rosemary Brace all of Carrollton, OH and William and Darlene Ripple of Florida. Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 3rd at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Leslie Peine will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
