Jason Glover Smith

Jason G. Smith, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2014. He was born in Garland, North Carolina on October 11, 1945 to the late Willie J. and Margaret (Cromartie) Smith. Jason was a champion pool player winning in several tournaments and was inducted into the Canton Amateur Billiards Hall of Fame. He retired from the Norfolk-Southern Railroad. Jason never met a stranger and was liked by everyone. He is survived by his wife Mary K. Driver; his children Jason Junior(Sheila) Campbell, Angela L. Campbell and Marlon Campbell; his grandchildren Sophia, Javona, Jason, Jayshawn, Jaslynn, Digarrio and LaShay; 6 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Sherman W. Smith Sr., Don Blake Sr.; niece, Quenessa; nephews, Sherman Jr., Cameron & Jeffrey and many friends. A Home Going Celebration will be held at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church 209 - 2nd Street S.W., Massillon, OH 44646 at 1P.M. on May 1, 2014. The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
