Janice M. Laschinske

Janice M. Laschinske, 87 of Canton passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2013 at St. Luke Lutheran Home, following an extended illness. She was born in Canton on July 12, 1926 to the late Fred and Dorothy (McAmmon) Nehlen. She was a member of the Eagles, Ladies Auxillary. Janice was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters, Marsha (Bill) Fowler of Jackson Twp., and Amy Laschinske of Canton, a granddaughter, Kristine Geis of Zanesville, two great-grandchildren, Miranda and Carly, and a brother, Thomas (Virginia) Nehlen of Canton. Janice is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Laschinske, a son, Mark Laschinske, a brother, Fred Nehlen and a sister Virginia Foote. Celebration of Janice's life will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Home in the Chapel, Monday, October 7, 2013, Fr. Thomas Bishop, officiating. A private inurnment will be held in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Home or Aultman Hospice.
