Janice "Jan" A. Liedtke

Janice "Jan" A. Liedtke, 80, of Massillon, passed away on July 23, 2024 at Danbury of Massillon.

She was born on January 6, 1944 to the late Urban and Eleanor (Wellen) Bertke in Belleville, IL.

She graduated from Belleville High School, Belleville, IL. Jan worked as an insurance agent for the majority of her life and in retirement became a full time seamstress running her own custom sewing and alteration business from her home. She was dedicated to her family and loved her cats.

Janice is survived by her loving children, Jody (Jerry) Hixenbaugh and Chuck (Linda) Maddern; grandchildren, Jacob (Nichole) Westfall, Kylie Westfall, and Brandon Maddern; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Henry and Riley Westfall; sister, Donna (Bob) Schrader; and many nieces nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Bertke.
