Janice A. James

Janice A. James, age 81, of Perry Township, died on Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 7, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Nichalous and Anna M. (Conley) Stein. Janice was retired from S.C. Pediatrics & Associates where she was the office manager. She had been a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and had served on their bereavement committee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Alta Reabe and her brother V. W. "Bud" Stein. Janice is survived by her husband, Arthur R. James, whom she married on February 14, 1951, her children, Timothy D. (Jeanne) James, Karen A. (Michael) Diamantides, Jodi M. Murray, Robert P. James and Jaime S. James. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, Ryan, Jonathan and Jeffrey, her great grandchildren, London, Lyra and Macarthur, her sister, Carol (Thomas) Steiner and her sister-in-law, Emily Stein. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas Cebula officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
