Janet L. (Snowberger) Princehorn of East Greenville passed away Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland to the late Robert Mark and Jene (Hancuff) Snowberger. Janet was a member of the East Greenville United Methodist Church, and Women’s Society. She was a member of the Massillon Lady Lions, the Massillon Women’s Club, the Massillon Museum, the Washington High School Alumni Association (Class of1939), and AARP. She was involved in many of these organizations service and community projects. Janet was an avid artist. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a member of the Lady Elms Golf League, and bowled in several area bowling leagues. She volunteered at the World Series of Golf/NEC Firestone Golf Tournament for 38 years. Janet married Merle L. Princehorn on October 12, 1940, and he preceded her in death on January 31, 1984. She is survived by her children Jan (Jim) Leadbetter of East Greenville, and Mark N. (Deborah) Princehorn of Hilliard, OH; grandchildren Jeffery M. Leadbetter, Jennifer (Nathan) Hershman, James M. (finace’ Megan Weick) Leadbetter, James Ruscilli, Andy Princehorn, Sarah Princehorn, and Marshall Knoch; great-grandson Seth James Hershman; nephew Robert M. (Janice) Snowberger; niece Karen (Dr. Richard) Wiley; great-niece Taylor Wiley. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Robert Mark (Vivian) Snowberger II. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home 1100 Wales Rd. NE. where the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Reverends Harry and Mary Lou Merryman will officiate. Interment will follow in Sixteen St. John’s Sixteen Cemetery.
