Janet Kay Schliffka

Janet K. Schliffka, age 74 passed away on April 24, 2015. She was born in Massillon on August 29, 1940 to the late Merlin "Bud" Willis and Gladys (Russell) Willis. She was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School, where she was a cheerleader. She married Daniel K. Schliffka on February 09, 1973 and they shared 42 years together until his passing on December 29, 2014. Janet worked as beautician for several years. Janet was known as a loving and outgoing person who was liked by everyone. She enjoyed decorating, gardening and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Jeff Allen Foutz, Lynn Foutz-Smith, Daniel K. (Cindy) Schliffka, Kirsten A. Forer, Shari K. (Michael) Kerr; her brother Bob (Annette) Willis and 10 grandchildren. A Celebration of Janet and Dan's lives will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Massillon on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11 A.M.
