Janet H. Perez

Janet H. Perez, age 86 of Massillon passed away October 3, 2012. Janet was born December 1, 1925 in Canton to the late Albert & Ida Bellinski and graduated from Timken High School. She was a private secretary at the B. T. Bonnot Co. and the secretary to the advertising manager of the Canton Repository. Janet was an election poll worker for 55 years, a former Girl Scout Leader and a member of the Christian Mothers - Altar Rosary Society. Her grandchildren were the focus of her life; and she attended all of their sporting and scholastic events. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard & Thomas Bellinski. Janet is survived by her husband of 63 years, Michael Perez; three children, Tod (Charlette) Perez, Joy Perez and Ray (Jael) Perez. She has six grandchildren, Lt. Comm. Michael Perez (USN), Amy Smith, Abbey Hewit, Christopher Fowler, Rayanne Perez and Dion Perez and three great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, her pastor Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
