Janet F. Nichols

Janet F. Nichols, 86, of Massillon, passed away on January 1, 2023. She was born on May 22, 1936 to the late Joseph and Hazel (Scarborough) Foreman in Powellton, West Virginia. She was a 1954 graduate of Montgomery High School in Montgomery, West Virginia.

Janet retired from K-Mart after over 30 years of service. She enjoyed music, especially Elvis and Alan Jackson, visiting Farmer's Market's and visiting her family in West Virginia. Janet was a mother figure to many people other than her own children. She will be missed by her family, friends and the staff at Meadow Winds Nursing Home.

Janet is survived by her children Billie (Deloris) Harrah and Pamela Harrah; her grandchildren, Tamra (Larry) Collins and Michelle Harrah; her great-grandchildren Devin Hirn, Gage Harker, Cody LaCerda and Hayley VanHoose. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her grandson Jason Harrah; her sisters, Mary Emma McKinney, Thelma Smith; her brothers Paul Foreman, Keith Forman and Jackie Foreman.
