Janet E. Bennethum

Janet E. Bennethum, age 72 of Massillon, died Friday, November 2, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on January 22, 1935 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late David & Della (Feichter) Daniels. She was a lifelong area resident. Upon graduation from Washington High School in 1953, she began working at Enterprise Aluminum. On August 20, 1955 she married Charles D. Bennethum, Jr. After raising her children she worked at Moffitt Heights School as a cook. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Senior’s group at the church. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with her 5 grandchildren. Along with her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Shilling and Ethel Ott. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Bennethum, Jr. of the home, her son and daughter in law Charles D. III and Beth Bennethum of Dalton, OH, her daughter and son in law, Lisa & Carl Krites of Elizabeth City, NC, her grandchildren, Brian (Talia) Krites, Stephanie (Nathan) Carroll, Charles D. Bennethum, IV, Tiffani Bennethum and Corey Bennethum and her great grandson Carter Krites. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Fryman officiating. Burial will follow in Brookfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and on Monday one hour before the service.
