“A Life of Love and Laughter” Janet D. Logan, age 82, of Massillon passed away unexpectedly January 24, 2019. She was born on June 23, 1936; a daughter of the late Walter Green and Analee Mizer. Jan graduated from Cambridge High School and attended The Ohio State University. Describing her childhood as “happy”, she often mentioned loving dancing with school friends in her youth. Afterwards, Jan moved to Massillon, where she met the love of her life, Chick Logan. Wedded in 1957, she lived her early years raising three boys and helping to run several family businesses with Chick. Businesses such as Dimitri’s Restaurant, Chick’s Drive-In and Logan Foods. With Chick continuing by her side as an active Rotarian, she also volunteered her time as a Rotary Ann in Massillon. In her later years, Jan enjoyed laughing with loved ones, watching her children and grandchildren grow, reminiscing on the past, and building more memories. Whether it was a sporting event, birthday party, fund raiser or meals with loved ones, Jan never missed an invite. Through her wealth of knowledge and memories, her continuous giggles, her bright smile, and constant moving and dancing in life (even continuing to travel to different countries in her later years), Jan showed us the meaning to live life to the fullest. She was truly an amazing woman, smart, organized, hardworking and loving. She was the perfect member to our family and a true role model. She will be greatly missed by everyone she knew. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, step father Glenn Mizer, and husband of 47 years, Charles (Chick) Logan. She is survived by 3 sons Charles (Chick) Logan II, Joe (Jeanette) Logan, and Nick (Amy) Logan; half siblings Richard (Nikki) Green, Judy Fichter, Roger (Evie) Green, Dale (Joy) Green, Denny (Karen) Green, Victor (Sherry ) Green; grandchildren Jennifer (Mike) Bajornas, Joey (Gina Brown), Jessica, Casey, Jarret, Mitchell, Savannah, and Anthony Logan; great-grandchildren Mikey, Lucy, and Max Bajornas; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
