Janet V. Constable

Janet V. Constable, 85, of Massillon, went home to be with The Lord on December 10, 2024 at her home. 

She was born on January 22, 1939 to the late Russell and Clara (Alexander) Bowser in Bergoo, WV. 

Janet was an active member of Massillon Baptist Temple. She retired from Massillon City Schools after 29 years of service. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She also worked as a polling worker for The Stark County Board of Elections.

Janet is survived by her loving children, Brian (Elizabeth Clawson) Constable, John (Grace) Constable, and K. Dave (Shelley) Constable; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Harley Bowser; and many other extended family members. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Constable; son, Charles Constable; and siblings, Dave Bowser, Bud Bowser, Earnest Bowser, Juanita Loudermilk, and Connie C. Hinebaugh.

A private family graveside will be held at Brookfield Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Massillon Baptist Temple.
