Janet Bushway

Janet Bushway, 76, died on April 25, 2011 after an extended illness. Born on October 21, 1934 to Victor and Lillian (Menegay) Weber, Janet was a very loving and kind person. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years, David M Bushway and sister, Patricia Brechbill. Survivors include her sons Michael and Craig (Kathy) Bushway, two granddaughters that she cherished, Julie and Kristen Bushway, brother-in-law Ken Brechbill, and best friend Phyllis Stewart. We will miss Janet’s infectious smile and loving nature. She loved all of God’s creatures and was a very devout Catholic. A graduate of St. Joan of Arc Elementary and Central Catholic High School, she volunteered in the Little Flower Church Library and attended daily Mass for many years. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the wonderful caregivers with Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care and Home Health Service and all the other generous friends and family that helped care for her. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 27 at Little Flower Catholic Church, 2040 Diamond St NE Canton, OH at 7:45 p.m. Friends may call at the church before the service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Her final resting place will be St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon.
