She was one of the first females to graduate with a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She enjoyed spending time with her family, ocean cruising with Diane Trembley, Star Trek activities with her son John and Nick Riggs, watching deer and raccoons in her backyard and having Sunday dinner with her son Clayton. Jane was also a long-time active member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church where she served on the accounting committee. Jane founded Erickson Interiors and had an incredible eye for contemporary lines of design, possessed a great appreciation for modern art and was an accomplished chef. She described herlife as a great adventure, and she loved everyone she encountered whole-heartedly. She will be supremely missed, but she will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her. Those who wish may donate in Jane's name to Community Hospice and American Red Cross.
