Jane "Janey" L. Weisgarber

Jane L. Weisgarber, age 77 of Jackson Twp. passed away February 13, 2015 at the Inn at University Village. Janey was born February 19, 1937 in Massillon to the late Delbert & Jenneth (Normile) Howells. She was a 1955 graduate of Washington High School and the Aultman School of Nursing. As an RN she was employed by Aultman Hospital for more than 35 years and then worked with Dr. Talug. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Massillon Women's Club and the retired Aultman Nurses Association. Janey had a special 'smile' and a willingness to help. She volunteered at Rose Lane Nursing Home and never stopped caring for others. She and Bob traveled Europe and the United States extensively, travel was a passion and enjoyed visiting her friends. Janey is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Weisgarber; three children and their spouses, Laura Weisgarber, Patrick & Kathy Weisgarber and Eric & Sarah Weisgarber. Janey has five grandchildren: Mason, Morgan, Mitchell, Jack and Beau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fr. Edward Gretchko will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5-7 PM on Monday at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
